About me
I am an eighteen year old artist born and raised in the Los Angeles area and am now currently studying in Chicago. I mostly work in drawing and visual development, working in both physical and digital mediums. I enjoy exploring my own emotions through narrative, infusing influences from experimental animation, comics, doll design and horror into something wholly unique. I also love to find ways for narratives to exist in a space that isn’t necessarily easily defined. I like putting comic panels inside a singular narrative drawing. I play with colors so that an environment can feel emotional the way a character’s reaction can. In a character design I’d like for you to be able to tell what their personality is just by looking at them. I produce my work because I enjoy relating to others through a story and/or characters and finding a way to do that provides me with a creative catharsis. I am a BFA candidate at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
